Beach Hiking Guide

The Southern Mendocino Coast features spectacular and unspoiled public access beaches with Point Arena the midpoint of this large swath of coastal beauty.  Driving the Pacific Coast Highway One, the mile markers you'll see at the side of the road begin at zero in Gualala and get larger as you go north. 
The turnoff to the Coast Guard House is at mile marker 15.00 at the junction of Highway One and Iversen Avenue.
