The Coastal Conservency purchased this land in early 2004. It is administered by BLM and makes 1800 oceanfront acres adjacent to the lighthouse available to the public.
This hike is only a small part of the public lands that make up the agricultural property that is now the Stornetta Public Lands.
It provides the hiker with a mile or so of breathtaking headlands, ocean mounds, islands, peninsulas, caves, blowholes, and a perfectly lovely waterfall that plunges into the ocean.
You will walk the broad headlands graced by a spectacular view of the lighthouse.
And the original infinity pool...
that plunges into the ocean.
