Coast Guard House has stood on a bluff over-looking
the rugged Mendocino Coast for over a hundred years.
The inn, a 1901 Cape Cod, was once home to brave
sea rescuers who performed their duties
just a few hundred feet away.
Today it is a peaceful bed and breakfast inn
featuring rooms with fireplaces in the main building
and two private cottages with fireplaces
and whirlpool spas for two.
All of the rooms are designed with simple elegance
and surrounded by quiet solitude.

This home of maritime history is a mile from the
sleepy hamlet of Point Arena nestled between
towering headlands of the Mendocino coast and
dwelling in harmony with the harbor life of Arena Cove.
