Jill and Rob Hunter are former owners of Pangaea, which was for over a decade, a culinary mecca for the Mendocino Coast. Hell, even the Bay area - it was that good! Now they operate out of a small simple store front in downtown Point Arena with a kitchen in the back where you can watch Rob prepare your meal. Still committed to fresh locally sourced ingredients, they describe their food as "bold and rustic California cuisine with Euro-Asian elements". It's truly excellent! Due to its small size, dining-room seating is typically limited to a large communal table (reservations are advised). If for some reason that dissuades from giving it a try, go across the street and get a table for two (or more) at 215 Main, Point Arena's classy wine bar. They keep each day's Uneda Eat menu on hand and and will arrange to have your meal delivered. We're not kidding - it really works! Click here to see a sample menu.
