Yorkville
Highlands
Growers
and
Vintners
Association
hosts
the
Yorkville
Highlands
Wine
Festival
in the
scenic
hills
of
southern
Mendocino
County.
This
year,
the This year's festival celebrates the appellation's anniversary. Highlights include tasting Yorkville wines made and grown in the region, delicious regional cuisine, live music, a tempting silent auction, grape stomp and other wild and whacky games. There's no better opportunity to taste this unique appellation's wines. Sample the the Chardonnay or Estate Symphony from Maple Creek. Sip on Yorkville Cellars' organic blends, Richard the Lion-Heart or Eleanor of Aquitaine. Indulge in the Pinot Noir or Zinfandel from Route 128 Winery or savor the wonderful Syrah or Port from Meyer Family Cellars. Tickets are $50, and the event typically sells out, so you are encouraged to buy your tickets in advance by calling 707-894-9177. Proceeds will benefit the Yorkville Volunteer Fire Department and the non-profit Yorkville Highlands Growers and Vintners Association.
